Saj, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far. BluEnt – if you break the letters and construct them again – will give you the genesis of our brand’s existence and purpose. We provide business solutions to enterprises with a focus on achieving maximum value, for your business.

As a 14-year-old company, we started with a dream of creating a strong and meaningful business impact on engineering, construction and technology. Looking back to where we are now has been nothing short of constant evolution and dynamism in the AEC and IT markets that we have experienced along the way. We were 5 founders from different cities Houston, Toronto, Chicago, New Orleans and New Delhi with our focus on business growth in the CAD (Computer aided design) and IT solutions realm. We loved to travel and we all met in New Orleans. Having seen the market mature with time, especially in the AEC industry, with a growing demand of more enhanced delivery from international markets, our offices span multi-locations globally – like Houston, New York, Toronto, Dallas and Muscat. Today we serve 100+ clients in the AEC and IT space.me our business differentiator – best value for money, with outsized business impact, internationally – and consistently!

Has it been a smooth road?

Yes and no. In fact, somewhere in between. Preparing to ensure that we are globally recognized and delivering to the industry benchmarks was a pivotal moment of transformation for us in the beginning. We knew that our operations and cost has to be dealt with when serving clients internationally – especially when we are doing business with multiple countries; we had to converge our thinking of being global and work towards a common goal of providing the maximum value to our clients. So what came as a challenge to us eventually became our business differentiator – best value for money, with outsized business impact, internationally – and consistently!

BluEnt operates in two business categories: IT (Technology solutions) and CAD Drafting and support solutions. In the IT category, we specialize in providing end-to-end custom application and product development solutions for enterprises. While in the CAD space, we help our AEC customers with their construction documentation, millwork, 3D rendering, BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD conversions. Our customers include top home builders, real estate developers, contractors, architectural firms, commercial builders and woodworking companies in the North American region.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I generally see Texas as a strong market for us in the AEC space. Both Dallas and Houston boast of top builders – serving us as a ready market to penetrate. The only challenge with Houston is that most networking conversation and budgets revolve around oil prices. The city should host, brand and promote itself as an innovation and tech hub. I think we need some more effort and events and more infrastructure (like more tech hubs) in that area. They are already there many tech campuses. It’s just that we need more branding and awareness.
